Poem - We're Killing The Beauty

Rainbows at Night - The Poems of Clive Culverhouse

We’re Killing The Beauty

Our body celestial
gravity shaping it spherical
our home of rock, metal and ice
resilient but fragile
but with sabotage from our hand
so I’m making a stand by
taking things off standby and
recycling things I use by
correct disposal and
making sure I don’t buy
animal products and
taking note of use by
dates to prevent waste
and halt the haste of how
we’re killing the beauty
